VOLUNTEERING: All South Carolina FIRST LEGO League events are completely ran by volunteers. Everyone from the check-in staff, the Robot Game queuers, the referees, the judges, on up to the tournament directors volunteer their time. Anybody can make a great volunteer. Volunteers do not need to be an expert in everything FIRST LEGO League. If you’re interested in lending a helping hand, head over to the Volunteering page.
We would like to thank Atlas Technologies, Inc. for being the presenting sponsor of the Hydro Dynamics season in South Carolina.
Additionally we would like to thank Bosch, Coastal Coffee Rosters, and Panera Bread for supporting the Charleston Qualifying Tournament.
The Charleston Qualifying Tournament will host 22 teams. Teams must be ranked in the top 9 Robot Game scores to be considered for Champion’s Award. The top 7 teams will advance based on their average ranking by the Judges in Core Values, Project, and Robot Design, and must finish ranked in the top 17 (actual number, not percentage) Robot Game scores at the event.
